NA TwintaniaArena - FFXIV
Slide 1, 2 (Twisters + Fireball Stack):
- Initial twister positions for different roles.
- Twisters snapshot at the end of the castbar. It's recommended to move early, around 70% of the castbar, and don't stop moving until they appear.
- 5 man stack at the back of the boss, no tanks. One healer will stay out. If healer staying out has the fireball stack, the other healer will go in the stack instead.
Slide 3, 4:
- After pushing Twintania to 74% and the neurolink drops, the tank will drag the boss to the 2 marker.
*Optional note: the boss can be left in between the 1 and 2 marker to help melees if they are chosen for the hatch. After the second set of liquid hells finish, the boss can be pulled to the 2 marker.
- The physical ranged DPS will bait 5 liquid hells, starting near the B marker and moving towards the A marker. If they are chosen for the hatch, they will stand behind the 1 marker at the wall and another player will intercept their hatch. After this hatch is finished, there will be 5 more liquid hells. The baiting DPS can bait them clockwise starting near A, moving to the B marker.
*Important note: as the DPS baiting liquid hells, ensure you are hugging the wall. Stepping in slightly can result in liquid hells being baited on the party, resulting in unnecessary deaths.
- After the second set of baits, if the boss is not pushed to 44% yet, there will be a Generate into Twister.
Slide 5, 6:
- After the boss is pushed to 44% and drops the second neurolink, the boss can be dragged to the middle of the arena on the 4 marker.
*Note: The boss is put in the middle rather than directly to the 3 marker to ensure the physical ranged DPS is always the furthest target, no matter where in the arena they are. Furthermore, this helps the melees and makes it easier for people to stack in the next fireball if they are far away.
- There will be another set of 5 liquid hells, and then a Generate cast.
- After the hatches resolve, a random target (except current aggro tank) will be chosen for a set of 5 liquid hells. A random target will also be chosen for the fireball stack. This target can also be the one targeted for liquid hells. After the 5th liquid hell goes off, the stack will also resolve.
*Note: It is recommended that everyone stacks for this fireball. Communicating LB cheesing for this stack is very rare in PF, and if several party members do not stack for this, it can lead to many potential deaths.
- After the stack goes off, the tanks can pull the boss to the 3 marker.
Slide 7:
- After the boss is put on 3, there will be another set of hatches + twister.
- When the twister and hatches are done resolving, another set of 5 liquid hells will go off.
- At this point, the boss will be close to, or already dead. If not, there will be more of the same liquid hell, stack, and twister mechanics until Twintania enrages.
